1. 지원자격

1) 16학번 이후 제1전공이 승인된 학생(휴학생 포함)으로, 3학기부터 졸업직전 학기까지 신청 가능

   (학사편입생, 졸업/수료신청자 신청 불가)

2) 시스템반도체공학과, 디스플레이융합공학과 학생 신청 불가

3) 복수전공 취소를 한 경우 해당 전공은 다시 복수전공으로 신청할 수 없음

 

2. 모집학과

1) 지원 가능 현황표에서 확인 가능

2) 건축학(5년제), 시스템반도체공학과, 디스플레이융합공학과, 음악대학 모든 학과, 의학, 치의학, 간호학, 약학으로 지원 불가

3) 언더우드국제대학 및 글로벌인재대학 내 전공은 해당대학 소속 학생에 한하여 지원 가능

 

3. 승인 기준

1) 선발인원은 지원인원의 50%와 지원학과 정원의 30% 가운데 적은 수 이상 선발함을 원칙으로 함

2) 신청 학기까지의 성적(전체학기 평량평균) 및 지원동기, 학업계획으로 평가함

3) 3학년 일반편입생이 첫 학기(5학기 재학 중)에 신청할 경우 이수한 첫 학기 성적으로 평가함

 

4. 신청 방법

   연세포탈서비스(http://portal.yonsei.ac.kr) 로그인 → 학적 → 캠퍼스내 복수전공 신청 → 캠퍼스내 지원전공 선택 → 지원동기 및 진로희망, 학업계획서 작성 → 임시저장 후 신청

※ 항목별(지원동기, 학업계획) 500~2000자 내외로 작성

※ 신청 후 취소하는 경우 학업계획서의 내용은 삭제됨

※ 지원하는 전공(학과)명을 반드시 확인할 것

6. 유의사항

1) 복수전공 승인자는 복수전공 이수요건을 충족하여야 졸업(또는 수료)이 가능함

  (전공 이수학점에 관한 사항은 학번별 학과별로 상이하므로 해당 학과 사무실 확인 필요)

2) 제3전공은 사전승인 없이 복수전공(제2전공) 승인자에 한하여 졸업신청(또는 수료신청) 시 제3전공을 신청(선택)할 수 있음. 다만 복수전공(제2전공) 졸업요건을 충족하지 못한 경우 졸업(또는 수료)이 불가함. 이 경우 제3전공은 자동으로 취소됨.

3) 교육학부 및 체육교육학과를 복수전공으로 이수하더라도 교원자격증은 취득할 수 없음.

   단, 제1전공 교직과정 이수예정자에 한하여 교직 복수전공 선발절차를 거치면 해당 학과 교원자격증 취득이 가능함(자세한 사항은 교육과학대학 행정팀에 문의: ☎ 02-2123-3163)

4) 복수전공을 취소하고자 하는 경우 학사포탈시스템 – 복수전공취소신청에서 신청해야함

   (졸업 직전 학기까지 취소 가능)

On-Campus Multiple Majors Application Guide for Fall 2026

1. Eligibility

a. Students admitted in 2016 or later whose primary major has been approved (including students on a leave of absence) may apply from their 3rd semester through the semester before graduation

b. Students enrolled in System Semiconductor Engineering or Integrated Display Engineering are not eligible to apply.

c. Students who have cancelled a multiple major may not reapply for the same major.

 

2. Available Departments

a. Refer to the chart of available departments.

b. The following departments are not available for application: Department of Architecture (5-year Program), System Semiconductor Engineering, Integrated Display Engineering, College of Music, Medicine, Dentistry, Nursing, and Pharmacy

c. Majors in Underwood International College and Global Leaders College are available only to students enrolled in those colleges.

 

3. Selection Criteria

a. As a general rule, the number of students selected will be at least the smaller of the following: 50% of the applicants or 30% of the enrollment quota of the department applied for.

b. Applicants will be evaluated based on cumulative GPA (all semesters), statement of purpose, and academic plan.

c. 3rd-year transfer students who apply during their first semester of enrollment (the 5th semester) will be evaluated based on the grades earned during that semester.

 

4. How to Apply

    Log in to Yonsei Portal Service → Academic Affairs → Student → Application for multiple majors on campus

※ Write your Statement of Purpose and Academic Plan (500–2,000 characters each)

※ If you cancel your application, the contents of your academic plan will be deleted.

※ Please make sure to verify the exact name of the major you are applying for before submitting your application.

6. Important Notes

a. Students approved for a multiple major must fulfill all graduation requirements for that major. Major credit requirements vary by year and department. Please check with the relevant department office.

b. Students approved for a multiple major may apply for a third major when submitting their graduation (or completion) application without prior approval. However, students who fail to fulfill the graduation requirements for their multiple major will not be eligible for graduation (or completion). In such cases, the third major will be automatically cancelled.

c. Completing a multiple major in the Department of Education or the Department of Physical Education does not qualify students for a teaching certificate. However, only students enrolled in a teacher-training program for their primary major may obtain a teaching certificate by completing the teacher-training multiple major selection process. d. Students wishing to cancel their multiple major must apply through the Yonsei Portal Service → Application for Cancellation of Double Major. Cancellation is permitted up to the semester before graduation.
