Collaboration for Academic and Personnel Exchange and Research Development
On March 1st, our university's BK21 FOUR Institute of Earth, Atmosphere, Astronomy (led by President Suk-Jin Yoon) and the IBS Center for Climate and Earth Science (led by Chief Investigator Lee Yeon Joo) signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU). This MOU aims to establish an organic cooperation system for education and research in the field of Earth-atmosphere-astronomy convergence, fostering the development of both institutions.
Through this agreement, both research divisions will collaborate on joint research in the fields of planetary science and Earth-atmosphere-astronomy convergence, establish international research networks, and develop joint programs for cultivating research talent and exchanging academic information.
The agreement is valid for four years and can be extended annually by mutual agreement of both institutions before its expiration.
