Held Face-To-Face for the First Time in Two Years... Along with Various Awards Ceremonies
On May 14, Yonsei University in Seoul, South Korea, held a ceremony to commemorate the 137th anniversary of its foundation at the Concert Hall, Centennial Hall on the Sinchon Campus. The ceremony, which was held face-to-face for the first time in two years since COVID-19, was attended by many guests, including the Chairman of the Yonsei University Educational Foundation, the President of Yonsei University, and the President of the Yonsei University Alumni Association.
In his commemorative address, President Seoung Hwan Suh said, “Now Yonsei University is facing the time for a leap forward,” adding, “Just like our 137 years of history shows, Yonsei should provide a clear solution to the challenges of our society and become an excellent educational and research institution that leads the way in pioneering the future of the human community.”
Various awards ceremonies were also held at the ceremony, including the Yonsei Social Service Awards, the Start-up Awards, the Medical Awards, the Academic Awards, the Long Service Awards, and the Excellent Staff Awards.
