Winning all eight tournaments between 2016 and 2021
On June 15, 2021, Yonsei University varsity basketball team defeated Korea University 102-89 in the final match of the Third Tournament of the 2021 Korea University Sport Federation (KUSF) Basketball U-League, held at Seosuwon Chilbo Gymnasium in Suwon, Gyeonggi Province, South Korea.
Yonsei basketball team, who also won the first tournament held in last May, won both tournaments this year. The second tournament was not held due to COVID-19.
Yonsei University won four consecutive men’s university basketball titles from 2016 to 2019, and won both half-year competitions in both 2020 and 2021, lifting all the championship trophies in all eight tournaments in recent six years. This year, in particular, the Team Yonsei have won all games in the first and third tournaments, recording 24 consecutive wins in the official league matches so far.
