  Welcome to the course ‘Introduction to TCP/IP’ in Coursera (www.coursera.org). Evidently, you are living in a fully networked world, where SNS (Social Networking Services), mobile apps, and the mobile Internet are used every day in every part of your private, academic, and professional life. In order to get full control of this fully networked world, in this course, the most important and necessary information that we need to know about the Internet and TCP/IP are selected, summarized, and explained in the easiest way, to help you quickly understand, use, and control the Internet and its equipment/systems. Internet functions and protocols IPv4, IPv6, TCP, UDP, IPv4, IPv6, IP addresses, routing, subnets, domain names, security functions, gateway and router setup are explained based on your own PC/laptop computer. In addition, a very easy and simple Wireshark experiment will be used to show you the TCP/IP packets and security systems (in real-time action) that you use on your PC/laptop every day. I hope you enjoy this course and sincerely thank you for enrolling.
