동서문제연구원(원장 박영렬)은 10일 새천년관 국제회의실에서 뮌헨정경대와 공동으로 'Europe and East Asia in Transition of World Order'라는 주제로 제3회 한독학술회의를 개최하였다.

첫 번째 세션에는 박영렬 원장의 사회로 뮌헨정경대의 Harald Bergbauer 교수와 Andreas Wilhelm 교수, 연세대 지역학 협동과정 고상두 교수가 각각 'The Rise and Fall of Authoritarian Regimes in the 20th Century: Theoretical Consideration'과 'The Logic of Authoritarianism: North Korea and Authoritarian Regime Stability', 'The Failure of Security Regime: the Case of Six-Party Talks'라는 주제로 발표하였다.

알렌관에서 이루어진 두 번째 세션에서는 뮌헨정경대의 Andreas Wilhelm 교수의 진행 아래 뮌헨정경대의 Osterkamp 교수가 'The Euro Crisis: Past-Present-Future', KIEP의 김흥종 박사가 'The Euro Crisis and Korea: A Response from a National Economy', 뮌헨정경대의 Heinz Steinmueller 교수가 'Is the World of Finance Dominating National Economies and Politics?'라는 내용으로 발표했다.

마지막 세 번째 세션은 서울시립대 김민정 교수의 사회로, 제주평화연구소의 이성우 박사와 뮌헨정경대의 Ralf Goellner 교수, 연세대 지역학 협동과정 박명림 교수가 각각 'Multilateral Cooperation and Regional Integration in East Asia: Integration or Membership Game?', 'East European Countries after the Breakup of Communism and the Ongoing Challenge of European Integration',  'Regional Integration in East Asia: Between 'European Exceptionalism' and 'European Universalism'이라는 주제로 발표를 이어갔다.

각 세션별로 발표 후 질의응답 혹은 내용에 대한 의견을 피력하는 시간이 주어졌으며 발표자들을 비롯한 회의 참가자들의 활발한 참여가 이루어졌다. 관심 있는 학생들을 비롯, 각 분야의 교수가 참석하여 지식을 공유하고 서로의 생각을 교류하는 시간이었다.
