Yonsei Ranked 98th in 2015 Center for World University Rankings Yonsei has been ranked 98th in the 2015 Center for World University Rankings (CWUR). According to CWUR, Harvard is the world’s top university, followed by Stanford, MIT, Cambridge, and Oxford. In Korea, only Seoul National University (24th) and Yonsei were included among the top 100 universities. In last year’s CWUR, Yonsei was ranked 107th.
Since 2012, CWUR has released its rankings every July. To make its assessments of the world’s best universities, CWUR uses eight indicators, placing particular emphasis upon the quality of education and faculty and the employment rate among graduates. These indicators are: Quality of Education (25%), Quality of Faculty (25%), Alumni Employment (25%), Publications (5%), Influence (5%), Citations (5%), Broad Impact (5%), and Patents (5%).
In 2014, Yonsei was also ranked among the world’s top 100 universities by Times Higher Education (THE).
