Over 60 Students from 19 Countries Attend
Our university celebrated the conclusion of the semester by hosting the "2023 Year End Party for International Students" on December 21st (Thursday) at the Global Lounge located in Baekyang Nuri(The Commons).
This year's year-end party was organized as part of the University Innovation Support Project for the Successful Settlement of Global Talents. The event was hosted and organized by the Global One-Stop Service Center of the Office of International Affairs as an in-person gathering.
On this day, over 60 undergraduate international students from 19 different countries attended the event, and the program was conducted in both English and Korean.
The first part of the event featured an introduction to the Global One-Stop Service Center, established in the second semester of 2022, followed by performances by the dance club "Churrus," traditional games, and a congratulatory performance by students from the College of Music's Voice department. The night was filled with diverse performances, creating special and meaningful memories for the international undergraduate students.
In the second part, students enjoyed an evening meal and engaged in various games, providing an opportunity for exchange among students from different nationalities. A networking session was arranged for all students to freely communicate and enjoy the event. Strengthening teamwork and networking, the atmosphere of the event became even more warm and festive.
The international students who attended this event shared their thoughts, stating, 'It was an unforgettable experience,' 'It was delightful to communicate and play games with peers from various nationalities,' and 'I hope there will be another year-end event like this next year.'
Through the 2023 Year End Party for International Students, the participants embraced diversity and camaraderie, culminating in a warm conclusion to the year-end festivities. -
